Gday everyone, been a little quiet on the news front lately - BUT - this has only been due to the amount of planning we have been doing behind closed doors. ALBUM dates have been booked - drums will begin recording on January the 8th, 2nd week of next year...This will be our debut full length recording, and we are working hard to make it a killer record.
The website will also undergo a drastic redesign in the coming months...from which point on will be updated very frequently, and will be stationed on a much faster server, allowing us to do a lot more on the website.
We are also forming some plans for some large scale shows which should be happening in the coming months - we're planning to go out with a bang before we shut ourselves in for the early months of 2007.
Thankyou to the people who have come out to the previous few shows, the support has been greatly appreciated.
Til then, announcements will be made in this space - Cheers!
Thursday - 23/03/06 - Gigs Onslaught!
Hey people...its a most busy few months coming up... we have 3 gigs scheduled, and more on the way. We've also been hard at work on some new tracks that we are hoping to have ready to show off shortly. Hope to see you all at some of the upcoming shows, and we are very excited to be making our way out to Geelong finally! Cheers
Monday - 27/02/06 - Barley Corn show over - others coming very soon
Cheers heaps to everyone who made it out to our Barley Corn show - it was great to have a front row of maniacs to break our necks to also :) The show was video taped (cheers to Pete and Tom), so there is a good chance some of the footage will be used in the near future. Lucid Falls played an excellent set with some great new tracks and it was killer to play with them again. We are currently scheduling our first ever Geelong show, which should include a fairly big line up. Sign up to the mailing list to hear about this as soon as we confirm...It is most likely looking to be April at this point in time.
Thanks!

It was awesome to see the familiar faces there, and very much appreciated. Cheers to Jim (Annihilism Axe-man) for letting us crash the night too.
We also showed off a newie - 'Mental Disarray' - which will become a regular in upcoming sets.
We are currently organising some melbourne shows (and interstates are well into planning) - so keep watching the gigs page for full details.
Tuesday - 20/12/05 - Holiday Update
Just a quick note - unfortunately the X-mas eve arthouse show has been cancelled, due to organisation complications. We are currently planning some more shows and we will be playing again sometime in January.

Tuesday - 22/11/05 - Merch and Gigs
Hi there, we've had a few new additions to the site, as you can see we now have a merchandise page. The reason for this is we have received our first shipment of band shirts (case of 50, and selling fast). Click here for details. We are also expecting a shipment of 500 stickers to arrive any day now also...
We are also in the process of arranging a show on Christmas Eve (24th of December), at the Arthouse - so keep it free! There new photos up on the images page, thanks to Trent. They've come up great, no small thanks to the great crowd we had on the night of the Screamers gig - so cheers to everyone who came out...
Those that were there also saw us debut our instrumental track, titled 'Where Silence Hides'. We also included 'Lure of Corruption' in the set, which has not been played since our line up change earlier this year! Since the Screamers show we have also completed a new track - titled 'Mental Disarray', which should be part of the Christmas Eve setlist if all goes to plan - make sure you come down and check it out!
Lastly, our first interstate shows are currently being organised! We are already scheduled to be on the 2 day MetalStock festival over Easter next year - along with 41 other bands, and we are also trying to arrange additional interstate shows for early next year.
Thanks for the continued support! - In Malice's Wake

Big thanks to everyone who showed up for our set at the Green Room recently, the crowd response made it a killer show - we played a new (currently unnamed) song, and also finally got to fly the banner we've had for ages. It'll be out in all its glory at the Deviate gig too (see gigs page for full details).
We are currently recording a new song at JMC with some free studio time (cheers to ermin for that). Sounding great so far, and it will be up for download as soon as its finished. After what seems like ages, our new EP "Blackened Skies" is complete! We are currently replicating 500 copies, which will feature full colour artwork, an insert complete with lyrics etc. At this stage it looks like we SHOULD have them by the 25th (Screamers gig - quick note, line up has changed, The Implicate Order have been replaced by Twisted Fate). If this is the case, it will be an unnofficial CD launch, and we'll be giving away stacks of them!
The final tracklisting is as follows:
To Run with the Darkness... Blackened Skies As Dusk Covers Day Weakness in Numbers
They recording has come up great, and Mick from Jets has done a killer job.
The Screamers gig (see gigs page for details) should be huge, and we urge anyone who hasn't seen us before (or want to see us again) to come out to this one. We are having proper lighting and sound done, and we are also planning to video tape it, so come on down and help us make this a night to remember!
